STUDY ON OPTIONS FOR THE MARGINALIZED YOUTHS AND YOUNG MOTHERS TO ACCESS FINANCIAL CAPITAL IN TANZANIA.
This study was solicited and funded by Swisscontact-Tanzania under the Skills for Embployement Tanzania project. The aim of the study was to explore financial options that would be made available to youths and young mothers so as to actualize the acquired skills by engaging in economic activities that align with the acquired skills with the help of the avialable financial options.
RESEARCH ON BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT (BDS) AND SKILLS ENHANCEMENT IN THE VALUE CHAINS OF FISHING, CIRCULAR ECONOMY, WASTE MANAGEMENT, SEAWEED PROCESSING, FOOD PROCESSING AND GAS/SOLAR ENERGY WITHIN PEMBA, MWANZA AND TANGA IN TANZANIA
This consultancy was carried out at the request of Enabel- a Beligium Development Cooperation Agency . The primary objective of the assignment was to define skills, competencies and Business Development Support package in the selected value chains so as to inform skills development for those to be employed in the examined sectors.
CONSULTANCY ON LABOUR MARKET AND EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES ASSESSMENT IN MAFINGA-IRINGA -TANZANIA - SUPPLY SIDE
The consultancy was solicited and funded by Swisscontact -Tanzania with the aim of exploring the labour market and employment opportunities from the supply side within Mafinga for youths. It was in the interest of the assignment to verify and anticipate skills and employment opportunities for youths within the assignment area of Mafinga
PARTICIPATORY LABOUR MARKET ASSESSMENT (DEMAND SIDE) IN IRINGA AND MOROGORO-TANZANIA
This study was also solicited and funded by Swisscontact-Tanzania as part of the Skills for Employment Project (SET). The aim of the assignment was to also explore from the demand side specifically from the employers their labour market needs in terms of skills and available employment opportunities.
PREPARATION OF THE 2026-2030 ACTION FOR COMMUNITY CARE (ACC) STRATEGIC PLAN AND RESOURCE MOBILIZATION STRATEGY
DFD successfully facilitated the development of the 2026-2030 ACC strategic plan and resource mobilization strategy. The assignment was solicted by ACC and hence funded by ACC. Precisely, DFD assisted in drawing ACC's path to sustained growth through clear and well articulated strategies.
